This luxury honey from SBH is unique and falls into the extremely challenging-to-harvest category. It's not your typical clover honey. It is much rarer, and getting the honey out of the hive is more of a challenge compared to "regular" honey. It's great that SBH lab tests each harvest and states that they can provide the testing documentation for every batch. In terms of flavor, it is a bit different than regular honey. I'd say it has a tangier flavor than typical honey. It's also more fruity tasting - maybe a hint of citrus flavor to it. It is also "runnier" than regular honey. Stingless bee honey is known for having a special kind of sugar in it: trehalose. This is special because of its lower glycemic index. It is also known for having very high antioxidant levels. I am hoping this translates into real-world health benefits. I�m intrigued by the trehalose and antioxidant testing, but I�m treating those as a bonus rather than a promise of health outcomes�this is still honey (sugar/calories). For me, the real value is the flavor, rarity, and exclusivity. I am grateful for the unique experience. It would make a very nice gift. Recommended.

I am approaching The Amber as a luxury-tier stingless bee honey, regardless of any positioning as a functional supplement or medical product.This presents as legitimate kelulut honey. I do not have wide experience with this kind of honey but from what I know and with additional research, this seems quite right. This is thinner than conventional honey, especially at warm room temperature, which is consistent with stingless bee honey rather than a sign of dilution. The color, flow, and overall behavior align with what is widely expected from Malaysian kelulut. The flavor is the strongest attribute. I find it hits brighter and higher than typical honey, with a noticeable tang and acidity that keeps it from feeling heavy or cloying. Sweetness is there but restrained, and the profile clears quickly rather than lingering. While there are many ways to enjoy this, I find I like it by itself, as a small spoonful of pure honey that deserves to be front and center, not merely an accent. The ingredient list is simple and credible, and based on appearance, texture, and taste, it is reasonable to accept this as unadulterated stingless bee honey, without need of relying on the more expansive health or longevity claims in the listing. Given its positioning and exclusivity relative to other kelulut honeys available in the US, this product is best evaluated on rarity, provenance, and sensory quality rather than on functional or therapeutic outcomes. The Amber is rare and comes from the hives of stingless bees in Malaysia. It is unlike any honey I have ever had. The taste is more tangy compared to clover honey or manuka honey, a unique flavor that lacks sweetness. The texture of this honey is more liquid (more runny) than clover and other typical European honeys; it is also less thick and sticky. It appears to have a lot of bioactive compounds and antioxidants, and the contents will not oxidize. Since I don't love the flavor, and since I'm not sure how well the bioactive material holds up in the digestive system, I tried it out as a skincare product. And for skincare, I really loved it. I applied it to my face every few days and found that it was calming and soothing. My skin flares a bit in cold dry windy air, and this seemed to reduce redness and preserve moisture. You simply spread the honey onto clean skin as a stand-alone product. The product page also mentions using this honey after skin treatments and with red-light therapy, but I haven't tried it out for that. Shame only 500 are available as I would like to use more, I was able to use it sparingly -- just a little dab -- to get results. I am grateful to have experienced this unique honey.

This is a very different honey. The Amber comes from stingless bees. It is a product of Malaysia.It tastes very different from the usual honey. It is much runnier, much less viscous than honey, too. It smells kind of pungent and fermented. it tastes acidic and less sweet. The color is light brown. Because of the type of sugar it contains, it is not supposed to crystallize. Also, that makes it slower to be broken down to glucose by the body, so it takes it longer to digest and helps avoid blood sugar spikes. I liked The Amber, because it tastes so different. Its rarity makes it a highly sought-after luxury item.

I knew that this was not any ordinary honey. I already knew that The Amber was a luxury product and have since learned that it is very effective and different from regular honey. The texture and thickness of this honey is thinner than that from normal honeybees. This is a more syrup like thickness and texture. The sweetness is subtle due to it containing different sugars than regular honey and do not have such an impact on my blood sugar. The color is a dark amber and the flavor is a bit brighter and a bit more acidic. I've applied it to a small rash that developed on my skin under my watchband. When this has happened in the past it took a couple of weeks for improvement. After three days with applying this honey once a day I'm already seeing improvement in my skin. I've also started taking a teaspoon every night before bed to help with my nasal congestion due to allergies. I'm noticing an improvement there also. The exclusivity of The Amber, being wild harvested and laboratory verified, makes it a true luxury. It has worked well for me.
